I am going to Osaka 10-20 November and planning to take my own clubs with me and play a few rounds as well as some golf related shopping.

I have been to Tokyo twice already so know my way around Japan a bit but I have never played golf out there.

If anyone has and advice/tips they will be gratefully received.

Thank you.

Never done it but as I'm constantly online I've seen a few instagram reels of people who have. Seems it's customary to stop for a meal after 9, and then carry on so rounds are long. Also, one I saw the club had a spa type thing for after your round. Looked a really good experience.

Both of the above are true. Also, you will have a caddie assigned to you, no choices. Often it’s like a hotel or resort, you check in at the front desk, change in the locker room, play nine, eat, play the other nine, bath after the round, eat&drink, then check out at the front desk, where you pay for everything.

Could get on board with this.
