Played my best ever golf today

A superb course, full of lovely interesting holes & since taking up this wonderful game in July I played my best ever consistent round of golf.

I hit every fairway with the driver (except the one that went in the river Oops) & I hit some superb 160 yard plus shots onto the greens, the card was somewhat marred by a few duffs & a couple of bunkers which I just couldn't get out of, but on the whole I was very pleased with the way I played.

At last it seems all the long hours of practice are starting to pay off.
Going to play at my home course tomorrow, just to check it wasn't all a fluke.

Always nice to go to the decent course and play a good round. So often I go to these places with high expectations usually off the back of a good range session and then have a mare. Try not to think about repeating it at your own course tomorrow and let the score take care of itself
