Hi I have a set of g5 irons fitted with DGr300 shafts, and to say the accuracy is bad is an understatement, a shot gun would be more accurate, or maybe throing blindfolded over my shoulder.
Months ago I picked up a single g5 6 iron (ex demo?) fitted with a Ping True temper shaft marked S, I guess it means stiff. I have searched the net but all cant find refrence to this shaft, all others seem to have differnt codes eg- zzlite, ktm, awt etc. I have contacted Ping and true temper and awate there response.
Would anyone know what it is or an equivilent, beacuse it realy did work for me. I know getting fitted may be a better option but if it is a shaft no longer in production it would be hard to source today.

Cheers
Chris

I think the G5 came with the CS Lite shaft.

They would be somewhat similar to a TT DG SL (lightweight) shaft.

You would be better off buying a used set with the CS Lite than reshafting your current ones. Should be plenty around and they are a pretty hardy set so should have survived well.
