Surprised at that pic Smiffy, I thought the reports of snow down south were just the usual 'media looking for a story exaggeration stuff' but that does look quite wintery.
We didn't get any new snow recently, Ballater is 99% free of snow now, going to the practice ground later. It's about 5 degrees and dry so no weather complaints.....for once

I like the outside bar area, a million miles away from our shed of a clubhouse.
So how come you were busy taking pictures and not out trying to play? I knew from your posts on Friday that it had been bad overnight and saw the pictures on the news. Is it thawing at all yet?

I didn't actually take the picture.
I lifted it off of the clubs website when I went on there this morning.
Still lots of snow around here at the moment although it is thawing slowly.
I don't reckon the course stands a chance of being opened up until the middle of next week at the earliest

No snow in lanarkshire this morning but there is a very thick layer of frost so another day off for the greenkeepng staff.
I am getting really pee'd off now. I am off to Cologne at the end of the month with work and may have to humph the sticks to get a game.
