Hubby was being silly!!!! though did end up a foot from the pin, par 3.

Looks really lovely place to play. You are so lucky, having your hubby actually play with you!!! He got me started (and hooked) and hasn't played a round of golf with me!!

Might see if i can hook up with Cyril to play a round with!

The course is 6109yds from yellow tees. It is great getting out midweek, normally we both would be at work but we're on our 2 weeks hols at the mo so ganna get in asmuch golf as we can.

Mandy, it's a shame your hubby doesn't partner you, we have some great moments to laugh about out on the course but on the other hand can also be a cause of tension, though not very often.

I'd be too slow (apparently), but I am new to golf!! More likely he just prefers me being his caddie, so i can be blamed when the scores don't seem good!! Hehehehe

(That or maybe he just likes me watching him for hours at a time!!)

My great grandmother and family came from Brailes! Is nice to get a visual of one small part of it! Thanks Barb.

maybe your hubby is more worried that you will beat him!!
As for being to slow there are plenty of others who are slow at this game and as long as you enjoy it that is what counts.
Where do you come from/play? if your ever this way you are more than welcome to come and join me at Brailes for a game.

Hi Barb

We live not too far from the Dartford Bridge and he has membership with the local (public) course. They are a very friendly club, always nice to me!

Would love to play with you sometime, just trying to sort out transport at the moment as my car finally died on me! (But it was very old!)

And yes, I really enjoy golf, even when I get frustrated with my swing etc!!
