I'm clearing out my music in my phone to add in some other stuff (X box Music), I'm doing this linking into my laptop and delving in to the files and removing those I don't want, and the stuff is still in there. How?

How can I clear the list and have it find the stuff again?

Is there a better app?

What phone do you have? Android... Windows?

Do you have your music backed up to the cloud? You might be deleting the files and it is just restoring them.

Windows phone. I'm on a teeny tiny data contract (250mb) so have data switched off most of the time and only connect when in WIFI.

Go upstairs and throw your Windows phone out the window, it's rubbish. Get an iPhone.

If it is Windows, it is more than likely set up to auto sync with your One Drive account.

You can either stop the auto synch or open the one drive folder and delete the music from there (rather than your actual phone).

Are you 100% sure, because it's set up automatically and unless you turn it off, it'll be turned on

I'm going to say no to that question, as I don't know either way.

Sorted it all. I've got a bit of software called StampID3 where you can change the information that you phone reads to identify songs. Drop files into software. A bit of typing required but bing bang bong all done! Easy to find all files now!
