Yup a big thumbs up from Mr and Missis Tash.

in a day and age when it is too easy to get a laugh at someone's expense (cheap shot bullying) it is a refreshing old fashioned change to be able to laugh at life

loved the Jap si from Rochdale joke.

Love it, so clever, Did anyone notice the missing Husband poster on the side of the road in this weeks episode?

Yup - really enjoying it. Curious how some Mancs on TV Message Boards spend their time complaining about location continuity - or discontinuities. And yes - missing husband - last seen with a lady of the night. All sorts of little things you spot. For instance traffic lights that show Amber as the topmost light as well as all the spoof and wonky signs.

I love the radio station too

I dont find it that funny. The odd joke makes me smile but its a bit mediocre for me. And there's always a filler where the woman goes off in some day dream for a couple of minutes.

I like Peter Kay but I don't think its his best work if I'm being honest.

I think the Girl in it is quite good but he just seems a bit wooden and uncomfortable.
He should of got Den Perry and Jerry St Clair on the back seat to liven it up.

Yep, "last seen entering a...*avoiding infraction*". Brilliant stuff. It's a typical Peter Kay comedy really. Not only do you get the main jokes, but there's so much stuff hidden in the background that you'd miss if you weren't watching properly. Great show.

its brilliant, all the little bits behind the main action, the simple premise the snatches of their lives, the will he wont he ask her out the subtle interaction and looks between the actors its sublime piece of work.

You have to listen to the radio, some of the adverts are both funny and wonderfully naff. I don't like the music / dream sequences, pointless fillers, but the rest is very clever. Typical Peter Kay, clever and subtle.

One thing that always intrigues me is that when the dashboard camera shot is being shown, the rear window is always smugged out with some rubbish. I wonder why..

Apparently he commissioned around a dozen 'breakfast' and 'drive time' shows so he could get authentic sounding shows for the background (heard it on Radio Scotland on way home from work).
