Personal best.....

Midweek monthly medal today shot a personal best of gross 93 net 67.....including 2 awful 8's..I so could have broke 90 for the 1st time.

I won the last midweek monthly medal with net 70 so could have a good chance of winning this one.

Its strange as although its my best ever score I feel slightly deflated by what could have been (those 2 bad 8's smashed me )

Its easy looking back on what might have been,just take the positives out of this round and try to cut out the horror holes,then the scores will come tumbling,good golfing....

Well done mate. I had a PB recently too and its a good feeling. I have to say there probably wasn't any shots left out there and I did hole a few long putts but a PB is a PB however it comes and so forget what may have been, enjoy it and focus on going lower next time out. Well done

Just back in myself from shooting my best score & breaking 90 for the first time - 87 for me - yeah could have been lower, scuffed a couple of par 3's but well chuffed - i've been hung up on getting sub 90 for months!

Good shooting, dont worry about the 8's there were probably a couple of holes where you scrambled a good score. A PB is a PB. The next thing is to look forward to another one.
