Hi all
Today I had the perfect Sunday,
The weather has been glorious all day, no waterproof needed even though managed to get a new waterproof jacket yesterday (Sunderland lightweight, TKMAX RRP £116 reduced to £29.99 BARGAIN)
At the club house for 7am to start the Easter trophy comp off, everyone out by 9.30 with myself and 3 others bring up the rear.
Had a cracking front 9 and 19 points but not such a good back 9 with 12 points, my driving was on top form (out driving 2 of the guys I was with), middle play very good also (on some of the par 4's managed to get on the green in 2) but the putts just didn't want to know (the ball stopped on about 8 holes on the lip of the cup).
Overall pleased with play today, winning member came in with 44 points.
Then got home to a roast in the oven and roasties have just gone in.
Had a bath and now I am sitting with a glass of wine waiting for dinner.
that's what I call a PERFECT SUNDAY. :D

And its back to work tomorrow. What a cracking day. Shame you couldn't quite keep it going onthe back nine. I had a quick 18 this afternoon. Not much to shout about. Went to the practice ground afterwards. Think I have finally grasped what the pro wanted me to do in my lesson last week. Just need to groove it now

Barb, it sounds like you had a smashing day, I on the other hand was dressed in thermals, gore tex and diddy hat and still only lasted 8 holes. I am waiting for my Caddy Lite GPS to arrive this week, so am going to be ready for the 1st medal on Saturday. If only God czan clear up the weather for us?

Sunshine and blue skies for me too. Unfortunately both courses were closed today due to flooding from yesterday's and overnight rain.

I need to get out more (to play that is). If I'm not match fit, how on earth am I going to compete against MVP with his hot new irons and MWJ with his hotter putter?
