Penina competition next week

Hi all
Been away for a bit so i hope you have all been well.

At last i have wangled myself a bit of time off and have found a competition week at Penina in Portugal.

I have been there before and know that it is good but i was wondering if anyone else has been recently as i understand the hotel has had a refurb.

And if you have played the course off the whites....

Have you ever got on the second in two

and on the last in two....

Its a great place to go if you havent been BTW

Went in Sept 08 and played one round off the whites (quite long), and one off the yellows (better). Course wasn't in the best of nick due to being overplayed throughout the summer, but was still acceptable. Also played another course called Morgado - about 10 minutes from Penina - mountain goat territory in parts.
Can recommend the massage in the hotel basement - about 30 euros I recall.
