Well managed to get out for a game there today. All in all a very enjoyable course. Windy though! I see what you mean about "course knowledge". Quite a few dogleg holes where ball placement is at a premium. Started terribly, only had 1 point after 3 holes and I thought "here we go again, another Smiffy disaster" but a flukey putt from off the green for a hardly deserved par at the 4th seemed to stir me into action and I finished on 32 points, 14 out, 18 in which I was quite chuffed with because all of the other guys playing faltered on the back 9. In decent condition bearing in mind it's January. Fairways weren't too bad at all, no mats and on full greens. Greens weren't super quick but were true. I'd definitely go back there again, well worth the green fee.

I bet the others were getting worried about going on golf holiday with you Rob, after those first three holes. Get any mud on your shoes ?

Glad you enjoyed Pedham, I played it a good few years ago when the porta-cabins were there.
Couldn't remember much about it to give a decent review though.

Anyway, I noticed you have the automatic Gokart now, any chance of a review, please!

Feels a much nicer place since the clubhouse was built.

I must play there again soon.

Been trying to get back there since they built the club house, it seems to have worked as we can never get an early tee time since it was built. Love the course

Yep, me too, perhaps in the spring.

Maybe a Forum meet is on the cards?

The last time I played there it was the windiest I've ever encountered. Balls kept blowing off the tees and trying to putt without the ball moving was an achievement! Happy days.
