Parliamentary Golf

It really is down to the club if they want to be seen as a community club.

The pro at WP has some schools come in for group lessons every week and he goes out to schools too.

The course is never over run as there is limited time. Often it is putting, chipping etc but the enthusiam is superb - on both sides.

Ask them to pressure TV Companies to get more coverage on terrestial tv, probably one of the biggest things that raises awareness of tge game and increases participation.
More pressure on the Single sex clubs to come into the 21st Century.

Seriously why do the majority when posed this question talk about schools? It's bonkers. Schools offer sports they can deliver on their grounds. I'm not convinced that's the answer though there is something in what Greg is saying about the attitude of clubs. If there is a way to incentivise clubs to open up slots or develop short beginners courses... I remember playing at the Valentines Park pitch and putt in Ilford when I was younger but there was no link to anything else so perhaps linking a collection of P&Ps to local clubs like the way the Secondary / Primary School clusters work could help...
