I think he has been good for Swindon and even helped them with his contract to help save and support the club.

Once again it looks like the bureaucracy of the Football League has caused him to make this decision, which cannot be good for the clubs future.

Maybe he his chancing his arm and attempting to force the league into a quicker decision, dangerous if he is, as their a stubborn load of old fools usually.

hes also worn his heart on his sleeve and with the latin temperment and all that, quite a fiery character. Been done a very good job at Swindon but the behind the scenes situation is a mess and its obviously got to a point where hes decided enough is enough.

I suppose in many ways its not the League's fault as many of the rules are their to cope with the ever increasing number of clubs going in an out of administration and the fact tha a "clever" club could gain a significant advantage by the timing of their action. It's an immensely complicated matter and as a Crystal Palace fan I know only too well that the incoming buyers always feel hard done by with the problems that the league rules cause them.

Otherwise, you are right, they are a bunch of old fools as I have found over many years with my dealings, albeit at a lower level

Paolo, good manager or not, is a nut job , who usualy speaks & acts before he thinks ... good or not, id say working with him could be very trying indeed

He can do no wrong in my eyes. One of the most gifted footballers I have had the pleasure to watch and supplied probably the most dominating display of football at Pittodrie I have seen in a game in the season he performed in the hoops.

Total nutcase mind.

As flamboyant as he is will he be seen as high risk. He has thrown his toys several times and a manager is dispensible. Not sure what the so called broken promises were and I admire Paolo for sticking by his principles. Can't argue with his performance as a manger but not sure every set of supporters will put up with his antics

Fascist? Yes
Total nutjob? Absolutely yes.
Good manager? Well, with the caveat that he's a big big spender, you have to look at the results and give him that - yes.
Did his Swindon team ever beat Oxford? NO :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I thought Oxford were now in the Poundstreatcher Three Counties Div 2.

Think you're confusing us with Luton there, or possibly Rangers?

Although really, which league anyone is in becomes totally irrelevant when the A420 Classico is played. There aren't many rivalries where it's felt this strongly by both sides.

To get back on topic, I see that all of Paulo's sidekicks have now quit as well leaving the club with two players in charge, one of who only signed a permanent deal last month. The bookies have Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink as favourite to be next manager?
