Painting external tiles

All the windows have an external tile border that we continually have to rub down and repaint every couple of years.

Have previously painted with black Rustin's tile paint so rather than repeat the mistake are there better options?
Even considering white incase it's heat that's the issue.

+1 for this, get a needle gun tool, scabble it off and maybe give it a coat of terracotta tile sealer.

Deffo au natural for me. Am not seeing that Black or white would look any better.

Suggest to the other half that she strips and repaints it herself every couple of years. She might change her mind - or file for divorce

Knock the tiles off and replace them with slate.

Resurrecting this as I'm going to tackle this, the idea being to take the paint of and leave as the original tile.

Any suggestions for paint removal, seems pretty baked on where it's not flaky.
Thinking heat gun but the uPVC windows might get damaged?

Get your self a plumbers solder mat to protect the surround where you are using a heat gun.
