Has anyone every had shooting pains in their right thigh and right lower back on the back swing? Really struggled playing today and wasn't sure I'd make it around. I ocasionally suffer from sciatica but nothing like today.

Sounds a bit like Sciatica to me. My sister suffers from it and has similar symtoms.

Had this problem last year - the pain in the sciatic nerve was caused by a problem I had in the lower back. Inflammation and lack of flexibility in the spine - Ibuleve cream and 6 sessions with an osteopath sorted me out - touch wood!!!!!
