Hello.
Recently developed a pain in the left wrist, just above the "knuckle" in line with the little finger.
It intensifies when I start on the range, being worst at the top of the backswing.
I can play through it, so by the time I've hit 30 balls or so, things must have loosened up because the pain has almost completely gone.
Afterwards, the pain returns some couple of hours later, but it is only occasional depending on the movement of the hand.
I appreciate that a true diagnosis can be obtained from the Dr ( 4 weeks wait), or probably best to see a sport s physio?
Anyone had this and if so, what was the best solution.
The reason I mention arthritis is my age - ..76.
Cheers

Sounds like a problem with the tendon I would rest it if you can, a cold compress may help. Get a soft ball and exercise it lightly by squeezing the ball. But if it hurts stop and rest it a wrist support my help also.
