Ok, so I have passed 40 and therefore am a couple of generations behind today's youth culture but can someone please tell me what the hell the Today's Golfer website (Link) is all about ? Have they designed it to be utterly incomprehensible or am I just stupid ? The Community section is laughably awful.

Golf Magic (Link) boasts of having 65,000 members but from what I have read there seems to be the usual "I've made x Million posts therefore I am god" mentality. They even have a thread for Word Association and Change One Letter at a time to make a new word. Clearly these people need to get out more.

Moongolfer (Link) was also mentioned recently and it undoubtedly has the best interface of any of the forums (this one included). It's a bit parochial though.

So, I am staying here and may even make a golf-related post sometime in the near future.

Agreed. I like a forum which is more like popping down your local to have a pint and a chat.

I have never met anybody from this forum but when you come on here and see posts from guys like Mr Findlay and the right hon Birdieman and a few more it is like I have played a few texas scrambles with them and wet myself laughing. I feel I know them quite well.
