From the first rate greeting in the Pro shop by a lovely lady to the practice facilities to the course it's a fantastic place to play golf. Every green is perfect. Wide open playable fairways. Long wispy rough that only really wild swipes will get your ball. Par threes that you want to nick off them and put on your course. I cannot praise this wonderful golf course highly enough. What an absolute pleasure. Four hours of joyous wonderful golf.

I remember booking Ormskirk years ago as a stop over for our group on the way to Southport.

I got copious stick for booking a course no one has heard of.

But, I received plenty of apologies after!

Yes it is a nice course.
it’s not that long but you need to plot your way around.
my mates a member and I play there regularly.
The par threes are great.

only thing is you must eat your crisps out of a bowl.

Down the road from me this course. Hidden gem that's often overlooked. The one's who find it though are very much rewarded

Might be the noise.
I could kill my missus sometimes , trying to watch something on TV and all I can hear is rustling.
might have to introduce the bowl only rule.

I do this at home. It makes it easier to pick at the crisps and get the bits that are left. The only problem is that it leaves them open to be nicked.
