And with shafts varying by as much as 40 quid depending on which you go for, it can make a couple of hundred quid difference to the overall price.

A top end brand will cost you 1000-1100. If you budget 700-800 for Orkas you won't be too far off the mark.

I paid 530 (Inc fitting) for my 3-PW set and Mizzy/Titleist etc were 699 at the time.

It's only one example, but about a year ago I paid £95 per iron for CTi heads on light regular steel shafts with standard Lamkin grips.
