ordering custom fit online

I have ordered my new clubs form golfbuyitonline however I have out my spec in for custom fit and it states this will take two weeks. Has anyone done this before and did they come any sooner?

I've sold my clubs and i'm itching to get out with the new sticks.

I order mine through a work scheme using Direct Golf, and they were +1 degree and they arrived 2 days later.

Surely it would depend on how custom fit they are - if they have to build them from scratch then I suspect at least a week.....

Mine are 0.5" longer and 1 degree up right so hopefully they'll be here by next weekend.

Minty- I ordered my AP2's off them about three weeks ago. They came 9 working days later. However i went for different shafts, grips, upright etc. I rang them once after about 6 working days and they were able to tell me when they would arrive.

Quality service and have used them a few times with no complaints at all.

Thats great news, I was abit worried as I have never used them before but this is very reasurring. I cant play this weekend anyway but it'll be great if they arrive next week.

If you know what specs you need or want, any reputable pro shop or retail outlet can order custom clubs to those specs.

My C/F AP2s were orderd through my Pro. Standard lie, R400 shafts and 1/64" oversize grips. Plus 2 Vokeys (Same spec shafts)
Custom fit at 3pm on a Saturday and new shiny clubs in the bag by Thursday.

TRS30 that's the problem.

I was looking at AG as my driver fitting was great but the Ping irons are at least £100 more there than online. Be careful online and buy from a stockist otherwise you might buy from a non stockist who just orders them from Ping, gets the profit for nothing except advertising. Stockists are slightly more expensive but you know they have them in stock and can be trusted to get them if not.

Homer I would generally agree, however in this case I had hit the spec I wanted at a range here (apart from the 2 wraps of tape and the GP grips)before buying them online- for €150 cheaper.
