Orange UK - BEWARE

Swapped over my works telephone number to a new contract with Orange.

That was two weeks ago.

Today my phone is blocked, no incoming or outgoing calls or messages.

Some imbecile has entered my details incorrect at orange.

I have an existing contract for my iPad so they know that I am who I say I am and that I live where the paperwork says I live.

I have to now take two forms of ID into my nearest retail outlet, unfortunately they don't have a working fax machine and there is a 7 day backlog if I email scans of my documents.

The short of it is I have no comms and there customer service or lack of it sees no way out of this unless I take a thirty mile round trip and accept a seven day wait for my phone to be un barred.

Beware, they don't care...

Which, in a nutshell, is why I switched to O2 :thup:
 
Not had a glitch or an issue since I switched to 3. Dam fine network, well in my opinion.
