was reading about an incident in the States, Nevada i think where a golfer had hit an errant shot and hit some guys window. Apparently the guy comes out the house and shoots the golfer? I believe he was ok but pretty shaken and had to get some pellets removed from his legs.

Got me thinking of the time i sliced my teeshot into a caravan park in Perthshire and slicing another in same round into the stables and striking a horse.

Shouldnt laugh, but does anyone have any other funny or otherwise stories of mis-hit shots and outcomes

Not funny at all but a family member hit a cow in a field. It didn't even flinch or make a noise.

A European tour pro hit my golf ball with his a few weeks ago.

Actually, how did I forget? There was a wee 9 hole course where we took the kids for an Easter break and I just so happened to remember to ring my clubs. Is was only a few months into playing serious golf. It was a tight course with holiday villas down the right side of the fairway.

Cue a massive slice, straight out of bounds, bounced on the road (which was normally mobbed with young families walking about but thankfully empty) and straight into a standalone mailbox at the front drive to a holiday cottage.

Went to my go kart, gave it a push and didn't stop until I got back to my lodge.
