Ok ok ok... i know i posted and started the " i dont want to change anything in my bag " but things just got interesting.

having a scour through ebay looking at whats there and bingo... the matching head to my current driver.. but just the head. Now of late ive noticed that im getting alot of height with my 9.5* burner, which is no doubt losing distance, and in another thread about clubs that changed the game, i made it clear that i miss the shaft that was in my G2/460. i think it was the green NVS.

Anyway, my point is ive just found a 10.5 burner head the same as mine, which effectively shouldnt create as much spin in theory due to the loft increase, (someone feel free to tell me im wrong here)

Im so tempted to snap up the 10.5* head, then have a shaft fitting to find a low launch shaft of teh same spec to the NVS to see if that all important perfect club is out there....

Am i doing this the wrong way... or should i be clicking BUY IT NOW.

The only way to know for sure is to get the current one put on a launch monitor and find out your launch angle and spin amount. That said if it is ballooning as such then yes it it likely its spinning too much.

Do you have anywhere local you could go and try a few drivers (and obviously hit yours a few times to get the base readings!)

OS have you considered that the reason it goes so high, could be .... and I'm going to be a tad controversial here ... you have a swing fault and the club is ok! There.. I've said it

I am, of course, no expert

nope, not an option... my swing is a thing of beauty.

If your lauch or ball flight is too high then I wouldn't be looking at the NVS, possibly the NV, certainly the Rip and also the Prolaunch Red.
