I dont think you should by any new gear Homer until you have decided if you want to carry on playing :)

Not for me - a present for someone - wants something specific and these sites offer the best price. Never used them and want to try and make sure a) they are legit and b) not like 118 golf and say its in stock and then keep you waiting for weeks while they get it from the manufacturer

Homer, County Golf are superb.

Shirts ordered on a Sunday evening, arrived at work on Tuesday morning.

I can't recommend them highly enough.

I've bought through Tony Valentine before and they were fine - they do a lot through eBay.
County Golf are sound too.

I've just ordered my new 7 wood through them.
Placed the order on Monday afternoon, received an email yesterday to say it had been shipped, due to arrive at work this morning! Good service. Shame it won't be here in time for me to use at Tyrrells Wood today, but still great service.

Sports Direct have a sale on at the moment Homer. I saw some nice Nike white trousers on their website reduced to £29.99 and nipped into our local branch (Eastbourne) on Sunday to see if they had any in stock. They didn't so I ordered them via the website and they arrived yesterday. Had to order some new ones to replace the pair I wore at Blackmoor because I sat on a Blueberry and the stain won't come out.......
Also picked up a lovely pair of "Dunlop" black pinstripe trousers reduced in the sale from £39.99 to £12.99. They fit really peachy, have the little splits in the hem and seem very well made.
OK they're "Dunlop" (not the first name you think of in golf gear) but as I say, they look well made and at that price were a snip.
I'll be wearing them today, along with a lovely yellow Greg Norman shirt picked up on ebay for pennies.
Look smart, play smart is my motto, and you can do it on a budget if you are canny
