I was going to say that one! Great song. The New Radicals - You Get What You Give.
He performed in a club when I was about 20. There must have been 20 lasses my age seeing along to all his other "hits"!! They had to have been plants. The other 300 there had no clue about em.Really one hit wonders... 8 UK No1 singles and several albums later before breaking up suggests otherwise.
As for 1 hit wonders Chesney Hawk's

who could forget Jocky Wilson SaidYou have had a mare there. I am guessing you are inferring both Soft Cell and Dexys Midnight Runners. Go forth and educate yourself, the 80's were my time. Soft Cell were one of the great bands of the 80's. Get yourself a Soft Cell / Marc Almond compilation, great stuff. Dexys had plenty of hits as well.
In fairness I could not have named you another song from either band. Even after looking up their discography, the only other Soft Cell I recognise is the one that David Gray did a successful cover of, and I have no idea of any of the other Dexys ones. So yeah, they're still one hit wonders. You have had a mare there. I am guessing you are inferring both Soft Cell and Dexys Midnight Runners. Go forth and educate yourself, the 80's were my time. It's lucky Weezer weren't on it then? Not sure Weezer should be on there either. Show's how subjective/geographical these things can be.

No that just means you've lived in a cave.I can only name one Elvis song, so he must be a one hit wonder too.
