So, you are given one thing that you could change in your past ,ONE CHANCE that could have changed your life ,what would it be.
over to you to surprise us all with what might have been.

Would have been more prepared for my interview at Oxford university. That would have opened all sorts of opportunities had I got in.

I'd have kept the houses I bought in the early 2000's (and used for rentals), and then added to them at the rate of 2 per year. I'd be retired now and living somewhere warm..

We did this a few months back on the CTRL-Z thread. Mine was on there. Not going back over it again.

I’d have learnt to not say what I’m thinking...

Happy were I am today, wouldn’t change a thing as I’ve no idea of the knock on effects. Boring answer, but........

I would choose for my Mother to live long enough to be a granny, unfortunately she died a week before we found out our first was born.

This +1.... in the words of Dicky Fox ...
“Hey, I don't have all the answers. In life, to be honest, I've failed as much as I've succeeded. But I love my wife. I love my life. And I wish you, my kind of successes”

But Norrin this is the 2nd “what if” thread you have started in a row! Are you feeling a bit melancholic? Did an ex girlfriend say “Hi” on Facebook and cause your mind to wander?😜

I once had a flat but sold it when I learnt about the problems of renting. My mate had his flat absolutely trashed cost him over £6k to put it right (back in the early 90s) the flat was only worth £26k at the time. My brother had 3 and 2 consecutive bad tenants made him sell up all 3.

My daughter is still in serious debt thanks to bad tenants. 6 months unpaid rent , court costs getting them out and cost of repairs to the damage done by them.

Personally I am with Frank Sinatra on this one.

What I did in the past made me what I am today - not quite broke, disabled but still enjoying my life.
