On Waiting list

I am on the waiting list for another club, I originally got the form about 6 weeks ago woman in the office said there was a small waiting list but hopefully a spot should open up for start of season April 1st.
I handed my form in about two weeks ago cause I was on holiday.
I wanted to ask should I phone up on Monday if I don’t hear from them ? I want in but I have other places I can join for a 2nd course and I just don’t want to be sitting waiting for a call/email that might not come.

There's no harm in calling to ask the state of play....

They probably only make offers after they know how many are not renewing.
No harm to call though.

If like our club their renewal date is April 1st with a short grace period they will not know until after the grace period who has not renewed.

So with our club it would not be until around week beginning 8th April they would be able to advise those on the waiting list.

At one time our club had a months grace period.

Won’t hurt to call, they should be able to tell you where you are on the wait list if nothing else, alongside how many people generally renew/don’t renew from that information you can make a call on join/dont join
