Olympic sports which shouldn't be

I'll start with those professional sports which have no place in the Olympics:

Golf
Tennis
Football
Basket ball

Add in a few non sports:

Archery.
Rythmic gymnastics.
Sychronised diving.
Diving full stop.
Synchronised swimming.
Yachting.
Beach volley ball.

A few weird ones:

Greco roman wrestling.
Judo (if you were fighting for your life, you wouldn't be using Judo).
Walking.
I agree to an extent with golf and basketball, football I would disagree as for the majority of the players playing in the olympics is their most prestigious achievement, particularly the u23's
I disagree with the ones you call non sports, they all require supreme skill and athleticism and the Olympics is also the pinnacle for them so they get my vote
One i watched 5 minutes of today which definitely shouldn't be an olympic sport... road walking, its ridiculous. Its fast walking where you have to keep your leg straight as it hits the ground... how is that a sport? its certainly not very exciting

I usd to fence and foil was my favourite weapon, the priority bit is confusing when you start but IMHO it makes it much more interesting for the competitior.

Agree though that it's a rubbish sport to watch for anyone who hasn't done it before.

(I went to a comprehensive school amd my Dad was not a Lord)

Men's 50km Road Walk looks like a gay rights protest march .

Slime.

You don't have to keep your leg straight just one foot touching the ground at all times. It's quite hard to do.
I used to do a lot of hill walking and I had a friend who was a sub 3 hour marathon runner. He joined me for the Neolithic Marathon
Avebury to Stonehenge once and was knackered after 20 miles.
The Neolithic marathon goes right through the middle of Salsibury Plain, it's the one day a year it is open. There are signs every mile that say 'Keep to the Track or You May Be Killed'. Good day out in aid of the Wiltshire Conservation Trust.

Being a noted 'sexist' already in that I still offer my seat to a lady on the tube or a bus plus I'll still open the door for ladies and allow them through ahead of me etc etc...

No surprise that womens boxing doesn't sit well with me... Yes, I know that as 'amateurs' scoring is more about technique than aggression it just ain't right...

I appreciate the difficulty in dressage, cross country and show jumping as m'lady used to do a spot.
However, as an Olympic sport it is taking us back to the days of the Cavalry.

It is also very difficult to make a dog do the agility tests, but I can't see that becoming an Olympic sport.
No difference to me.
