Hey Everyone,

First of all, sorry for my lack of knowledge, I haven't really played any proper golf before.

I was posting to ask some advice. I've just been rummaging around in my garage, and I found a set of golf clubs who were owned by a late friend of my brothers. We now want to sell these to create space but have no idea where to start in terms of value. They are all very old clubs so I thought I'd post the names etc. written on each club and if anyone happens to have any idea as to how much they're worth, I'd be very grateful! :)

Here they are:

-Mizuno Club Champion Wide Sweet Area 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, S and P (All in reasonable condition, bit of wear and tear on handles.
-Progen Full Bore 2.4 - Good Condition
-Ben Sayers Consul 3 - OK Condition - Clearly been used, but all very much in-tact
-Jack Nicklaus Autograph MacGregor 3 - Pretty good condition
-Challenge by Slazenger Eurostar 1 1/2 - OK Condition - again general wear and tear
-Tommy Armour Zaap Alpha II Putter - Good condition apart from rubber slightly ripped on the club head
-Bronty Pitchmaster - Good condition
-Mizuno Astron Rocker Sole 3 - OK Condition - General wear and tear
-A Compston Speical hand forged 2 iron (wooden shaft) - Clearly old, no rubber on handle, but all in-tact
-Another putter but can't find any markings!
-Old Mitsushiba green club case with umbrella (blue and yellow)

Thanks to anyone who has a read through this and thanks in advance to anyone who can help me!

David

Chuck it all on ebay.

None of it is valuable.

Most of it is £2, £3 stuff at most. The irons are ancient.

In all honesty.... the best thing to do would be to give them to a charity shop. You could put in hours of time and effort auctioning stuff, but the returns won't net you even £20.

Oh... the Tommy Armour putter might be worth a separate sale.

As might the McGregor Nicklaus 3W and the Archie Compston Hickory. Compston is a demonstration/Example that there's no fame for getting 2nd! Wentworth might be interested in it - he was the Pro there for a while - but it would need to be in great condition.

Yep, you never know.

I found a few "rare/collectible " clubs for £1 in a house clearance place. Even the Pings would need too much work.

I will get the Eye 2 SW fixed up though.... just to use it.

The wooden shafted irons go for around a fiver unless of course they are rare/special, the rest stick it on gumtree for £30 and accept £25.
