Old irons vs new irons

I've ordered the tour preferred MC's, got a great deal so I couldn't say no.

Can't wait to try them out on the course!

Pretty sure if I got new irons my club distances would shift by at least one, 8 becoming 9 etc.I hit a good 4 iron 185 to 190, going by some on here I should be able to do that easily with a modern 5.
