Had a restaurant night at my club last night, 10 of us in total, 5 guys from our society and our wags.
Dinner was pukka food, tempura prawns followed by Wahoo fillets in white wine sauce with scallops, desert then a cheese board. This was just £34 per couple which was incredible, you dont get those prices at a harvester.
Also, a round of drinks for 10 of us came to just £21 which again is amazing. Very good wine was just £14 a bottle.
The moral of the story here is, Beat the credit crunch, eat fine food and get terribly pissed at the golf club, you will save £££'s!
