November holiday options

Perhaps smallish cities but best food in The World.

5 days San Sebastián, 2 days Bilbao. Great culture unbeatable, 2 hour flight.

Get it booked!

Tenby - fantastic walking, Tenby and Royal Porthcawl on winter rate, Royal Welsh regiment museum (them of Zulu fame...ish), Brecon mountain railway, and even more great walks.

Liverbirdie. He would look a darling up the Brecons in his budgie smuggling speedos 😳

Cotswolds or New Forest - country walks and pubs and tearooms, then more country/woodland walks and pubs and tearooms. Fresh autumn air, log fires and full bodied dark ale this time of year is most relaxing.;)

Granada. Only 2 hours by air. Ski in the Sierra Nevada in the morning and down on the beach an hour away in the afternoon.

I am going to Cornwall. Sorted. Lovely hotel booked, no flights, no language issues (maybe), nice walks, good food, interesting weather.

I'd highly recommend going to one of Rick Stein's restaurants in Padstow. There are a few but one is called Rick Stein's Cafe and that is the one we went to. Set menu, reasonable prices, wonderful food, lovely atmosphere. It's relaxed, not pompous. You will need to book but it is well worth it.

Good shout Cornwall, me and the mrs liked it, nice villages, great for arts and seascapes. Only thing we weren't that fussed for was The Eden Project, impressive as the biomes are from an engineering perspective if you've ever been to a real tropical rainforest or desert this doesn't come close unfortunately.
