Ok, tricky one. A weeks hols in november. Dont really do cities. Or beaches. Not mental on long haul flights. Southern spain, france, canaries, portugal pretty much closed for the season. Like walking, sights, food, grand scenery. Could bike. Dont ski, or do cold well.

Ideas?

Joking aside, canaries are warm pretty much all year round? What about Cape Verde? Not quite a long haul flight and you don't have to go to the beach...

Snowdonia? As long as no hurricanes are forecast you will enjoy a walk up Snowdon, there's Zip World (world's largest zip wire) travelling down at 100mph, slate and copper mines to explore. You could even sneak a game in at Conwy on the way.

Missis T said canaries or Cyprus. Certainly not India what's on the telly at the moment. It looks a dirty stinking dump.

I turned it off when that bloke started rubbing human ashes all over himself.
I agree, every time I see it on tv it just looks a dump.

Really? I think it looks an amazing country, right up there on my bucket list once the kids have grown up and buggered off

Sue whatsher name is going down the Ganges. The river is just a toilet, the programme didn't put India in a good light.

re the op, have a look on the jet2 sites for holidays. Went to canaries earlier this year and it was excellent.

As has been said, Canaries is usually a good option this late in the year - a few decent courses on Tenerife as well.

Also went to Portugal a few years ago in late October/early November - that was decent as well
