hopefully I've made the right choice. Bought a new driver, opted for the Titleist 910D2 after trying out all the popular current models on the range. Once I decided which head I liked, I then grabbed every shaft option from the Titleist fitting kit and tried them on the range and the course. So rather than going by a load of numbers on a computer screen, I've gone back to the olde days and selected a head/loft/shaft combination by how it actually works on the course.

Finally settled on 910D2 9.5* with Aldila RIP shaft in stiff flex.

best way to do it i suppose! are you hitting it further than your old one? what did you have before? ive hit my friends 910. lovely club at address!

I had a Callaway Octane Black Tour, looks beautiful but didn't get on with the feel. If has a very powerful low spin flight but I prefer the duller thud sound and feel of the Titleist. Not much difference in distance, possibly slightly shorter with the new club but more consistent.
