well it seems i won't be joining callander golf club this year solely because of financial reasons.i am a bit gutted but in the end up i think it will make no difference.
at my home club there is only 1 medal a week and at callander there is 2 in the height of the season.so this would give me 3 medals each week and plenty chance to cut the handicap.but i was thinking that if i was just a member at killin then it would be more of struggle with just the 1 medal

however because i'll be working at balfron golf club it seems i'll be able to play the medals there and even though it looks like just the 1 per week that i can make it is better than nothing and tbh i feel that i'll shoot better scores at balfron.so maybe this is a good thing, the sss there is 2 below par but the course is easy with a lot of short par 4's and a few short par 5's,and on the odd occasion the css goes up 1 so this could be a chance to cut the handicap if i can produce a lot of low scores.
and i save myself money this way aswell as callander is double the amount i pay at killin it could work out much better.
