Nike golf storm Fit packable waterproof suit

After today's round i thought it time I got myself some proper waterproofs.
Decided to purchase the above after some good reviews online and for £70 a bargin
Noticed a few of you have them (via forum search) and just wondered how you have found the suit?

Single best "mid-priced" suit out there, as far as I'm concerned.

Treated it to a Nik-wax bath the other month, and it's like new again.

If I had the money, I'd go for Galvin Green, but as I don't this suit has been the best I've owned over the years.

Nix-wax eh? Might try that.

I have the same suit and it's only been really tested once during our club champs.

Considering I played 15 holes with no brolley and belting rain it did it's job. Was I completely dry? No, but then I'm not going to be unless someone creates a suit with a seal around the neck to stop water completely getting in.

Half of my shirt was wet and (top half bone dry) and the top of my trousers were wet, but that's probably down to me fishing in and out of my pockets trying to keep stuff dry.

Couldn't be happier with it though. Once it runs it's course I'll probably upgrade to a pro quip, but only because I think they look the business

Won't Nik-Wax screw up the breathable layer? clog the 'pores'
