I can be honest the only piece of Nike equipment that has turned my head of late is the MOD90 putter.

That said. I would t buy it as I love my Scotty too much.

I know it's me and this is just my thought on the matter, but i can only consider nike as a clothing/footwear manufacturer and not a sports equipment manufacturer. Whenever I go into a golf shop I never look at the nike clubs/balls but always look at their clothing.

I used to play the Slingshot 4D Irons and have to admit for a relatively inexpensive GI set of irons they were great, I really liked them, plus I just recently changed away from a Machspeed Str-8 fit driver and still play the machspeed hybrid, I think their gear is very very underrated, when I changed my irons it was between the Amps and the Covert Irons, but I was snakebitten.

Nike's profile should really be higher than it is bearing in mind they have 2 of the best players on the Planet + several more slightly lesser names on their roster.
They also advertise a reasonable amount but, apart from some on here, I haven't seen Nike club in a bag.
Plenty of Ping, Callaway, Mizuno, Titleist, TaylorMade etc etc but no Nike.....

Can't really pin down a reason, their clubs are as good as most others, the pricing is consistent with other brands and there doesn't seem to be problem sourcing them, AG and DG both stock them....

Plenty of Pros, plenty of stock, not plenty of users.........

Most probably they just need time. the brands you mention have been doing this for a lifetime compared to Nike who are still seen as new kids on the block. Throwing money at the top players isn't really enough, especially when the rumours are still abound that Tiger wasn't actually playing Nike clubs for several years after signing for them.

Given time, I expect they will be as common as some of the other manufacturers, but you don't build a reputation over night.
