I don't get praise for good shots, well if I do I don't hear them as I'm generally running around screaming and hollering "Did you see that!", "Wooohoooo!!!", "Go in the hole!" and fist pumping like Tiger Woods until my arm hurts

It's the "ah that's a shame, it was looking like a good shot" comments that annoy me, as I watch the ball sail OOB or into a ditch. Knowing full well that I've just handed them the advantage.

Genuine praise / gutted for you or a touch of a wry smile and a dash of sarcasum? You never know.

I have done this and you feel like you want the course to swallow you up when someones shot looks great and you say "good shot" and see it slice into trouble...
