A complete and utter rip off aimed at the Yanks.

Do it yourself for a fraction of these costs,for example the supplement to play the Castle Course on the Links Trust 3 day ticket is £28 and this I am sure is only enforced during a 4 week period and free the rest of the time but these thieving bastards charge you £50!

Lighten up dodger, it was a humorous post, half of the comments are all yanks, they did seem to enjoy it all the same.
Id love to be able to afford to run round all of these courses in the motor (different hotel every couple of nights) in my own time though.

There are other trips (the list on the right with product codes)where they are 5 games and 6 days etc, I think it is because there is more travel on that specific one.

yes but they've wasted days 3, 7 and 9 on culture - I'm guessing they think you'll bring a non-playing partner who needs cossetting
