The only course I have played is the small course at Thornbury. I live in North Bristol so Kendleshire is probably the closest and the facilities look really good. Filton and Shortwood are also very close and The Bristol and Woodlands are a bit further out but easily reachable.

I'm quite spoilt for choice, so recommendations are most welcome.

Woodlands is a decent course for a beginner, not too long with quite a few interesting holes.
