Hi all,
I posted a few weeks ago about starting a 4 week beginners golf training course. I have now finished and really enjoyed it. I started with the 7 iron then driver and finished with some chipping and putting.
I would like to try playing on a course but am probably nowhere near good enough yet. What is the usual progression for a beginner? I dont know anybody else that plays so cannot just go out with a group of better players. Do people generally mind somebody going around on their own? I fully expect to be hitting it into the trees etc. so may take some time. I was planning on going when it will be quiet but dont want to annoy everyone by being slow and rubbish.
What were other peoples experiences of playing on the course the first few times? The first tee is outside the bar so is a bit intimidating. I am managing to hit it to the back fence on the range and most of them go pretty straight but I just know that one won't.
