I know MD clubs are cheap, but this is ridiculous!! I put a silly bid via Auction Stealer on a Norman Drew 56deg Players wedge and just got an email saying I had won the auction for £12.00 plus £5 postage :) :) :)

The club is brand new BTW

Hope all goes well with the postage and nothing untoward happens, but I am chuffed as I wanted to try a wedge from this range to see if they are as good as people say.

Will post a review when I have received it and played a few times, a la Oddsocks with his Mizzys.

Happy.

I love the S59's and having upgraded from Zing 2's they are a lot more responsive. Would love the S56 but really think i wouldn't see that much difference in performance to warrant the extra money. Doesn't stop me lusting after them though!!!!

I have had 59's I5's, I10's and now S57's. I think the 59's were the best, great feel from them. Nice clean look although I aint had my 57's long enough to accurately compare but over all I loved my 59's.

Yes, keeping hold of the bouncy Tp9 Sw for bunkers as the low bounce may leave me embarrased in the sand :o

wow 12 quid, proper bargain, I picked up a 54 for 15, free post, but was used, had it at the range and loved it, but not been on the course yet, so time will tell, enjoy!!

I have a superstrong 54 and 58, my 52 is a Norman Drew model and It is fantastic for mid length wedge bunkershots, it picks the ball out with a little sand and no fuss. Id expect the 56 to be equally proficient. Its all about getting familiar with the club from various bunker lies, ie downslope, flat, slightly fried egged etc. Expect the unexpected!
