New moby problems

I've got a new moto e30 which is causing me problems.
My brother sent me a text which has some sort of encryption on it so it's unreadable.
Also when I try and send a photo to my PC via bluetooth, it doesn't work, everything is paired and visable.
Can anyone help please?

Has your brother used a particular program to encrypt the text? PGP perhaps?
Why not send the photo via an email?

It looks like he may have sent me a pic through whatsapp but I think I'm sorted now thanks
