New Irons

It's my 21st birthday coming up soon and have decided to get a new set of irons.
I'm an 8 hcap, and hoping to improve on that. Can anyone provide recommendations?

Go to the nearest club pro, or shop that has a flight scope system and try out at least half a dozen different makes then purchase the set that is best for you that is within your budget.

Head to your nearest AG or the like browse the shelves see what you look the like of and head to the range to test on a launch monitor to work out best fit or if you find something you really like find the neatest regional fitting centre be it be titleist taylormade ping Nike cobra mizuno etc and maybe book in there, if cost is more flexible independent fitters are getting some great reviews of late.
