I am looking to change my irons this year and have tried Callaway X20's and Mizuno MX25's,I liked both of these but are there any others you would recommend I should try before buying either of these.

I changed to Callaway X-Tour this year (2nd hand) and feel that they offer terrific shot-shaping with decent forgiveness. As you're a 13hc, you should be more than able to use them, so might be worth a look.

I picked up the G10's this year and really like them. With your handicap though you might want to consider the i10's or indeed a combo of both as you move through the clubs.

As a footnote, I can shape the G10's fine so they are not that clunky.

It's all down to feel beyond a certain point but if I was on a good handicap I might be inclined to go for the Mizuno's. Whenever I get a gawp at them in a shop they always strike me as being just that little bit better finished IMHO.

Having said that if I thought that a set of Telly Tubby clubs might conform and improve things I wouldn't hesitate. :(

When I bought the FP's I actually tried the X20's, MX25's and a set of Taylor Made RAC OS II's.

Of all of them the cobras were best for me, this may be because I used 2300's before then but they were just right for me.

In my eyes you pay for the name with Callaway more than Cobra.

This is not to say that the X20's arent great irons because they are, they will also retain their value better for the future.

Cant beat the Wilson and Srixon irons for value. Ping are superb but most of all Toad try out loads and go with what you feel and like the best.

Geronimo the MX25's look and feel lovely, and are easier when shaping shots when you hit it right that is.
They have less of an offset than the X20's and are not as forgiving but overall for me at the moment the are ahead.
Going to the range to try Cobra FP's and TM RAC's 2moro.

think i will try the fp's as well as the mx25's, don't fancy calaways as when i see someone with them i think poser. this may be very unfair thing to think about callaways and no insult is intended and i don't really know why i think that as they are not always the most expensive clubs.
