New Football Season - any big fans?

Manchester City fan here, had a season ticket for approx 40 years, first match back in 1966. Took up golf 7 years ago and wouldn't like to say what I'd do if it came down to a choice of season ticket or golf club membership.

Big Dunfermline Athletic supporter here, live in Ireland now so don't get to many matches but try to get over a few times every season.

When I lived in Dunfermline I followed them home and away for years, just glad to still have a club to support after the recent administration and threat of liquidation.

While on that subject can I wish all the best to any followers of Hearts and Coventry, hopefully both clubs can get through these tough times and come out the other side stronger.

ive been to East End Park on many occasions as one of my clients is a big Pars fan thus they are my Scottish team now. Hope everything turns out well for the future for you and your (our) team.

Fulham fan. Use to go home and away in the 80's before Mohammed and his cash and when we were crap and one game away from going out of the league. Places like Scunthorpe on a Tuesday night tested patience and sanity but I loved the trips with my mates.

Well my beloved Blackburn did their level best not to get a result today but Leon Best getting his first goal for the club saved us and can't think of a more deserving player to score it after his injury last term.

Well Folks, my wee team with the big name, Inverness Caley Thistle, are sitting on top of the new Scottish top league tonight.

To me ..... that is just Magic!!

My team - the 'diddy' St Johnstone, beat Hearts without really breaking sweat (they are doomed the Jambos - they are doomed); second leg of Europa Cup qualifier coming up on Thursday. And the High and Mightly Sevco knocked out of Scottish League Cup in 1st round by mega-diddy Forfar What's not to like.

I support two teams, Saints, and anyone playing against portsmouth:D
Great start to the season for the blue few, a 1-4 home tonking. Can't wait for the 17th and the premier league to start again, hopefully we will have a decent season with a top half finish.

Ive never been to bothered by pre season matches but waching the new signing play its nice to see some good changes to the team, Jesus is bloody quick down the wing.
I live in south wales and was hoping to get tickets to the cardiff mcfc match butnthey have only allocated 2900 for away fans and they will all go to season ticket holders so will have to wait for the swansea game.

Sorry to say but think its Even less for Swansea we got 2450. :(

Me being a lifelong United fan season ticket holder since 2nd division season in the days of the Doc, thanks to my Dad.

Fair play to the Pompey supporters though, over 10,000 season tickets sold, and a sell out for the Oxford game.

Had a good crack at the auld coupon today. 7 teams with only Millwall letting me down... They were playing Yeovil FFS...

Championship is just one league you never know what's going to happen in. It is one of the best for entertainment value in Europe IMO.

You don't have to remind me ..... I was there!

Millwall are probably the smallest most famous club in the world #NOLU
