Hi par par par treble. did u get the weight yet,if not i have a few different ones.Let me know which one you need and i can post it to you if i have it.
I've taken to 'hovering' if by that you mean not grounding the club.
Flex is definitely something to work on.
Played yesterday, good contact on all but one, that I dragged left, but still ballooning and losing distance.
We've got a Ping demo day coming up next month so I can try out a few. If my info is correct, a 9 will decrease ballooning but increase spin - so back to slicing - but if I find a better combination I think I'll be giving Orka a call - I like his style!
if you're skying the ball, aren't you swinging too steeply into it? That was always my understanding of the problem. A shallower swing with more of a sweeping action would work. Usually means reducing the forward tilt of your shoulders. That can lead to a reverse pivot. In other words aim your left shoulder high. Golf is a game of opposites. Aim high with your shoulders to stop you skying the ball...go figure.
Ah yes J_F, but from a shallower, flatter, swing I tend to either top it or drag it left.
However, the shoulders bit is new so something else to try and then remember.
Now how does it go, left leg across right, bend right knee, right arm behind left shoulder blade . . .
Yes it could be, John. I guess another session with my Pro is called for - it's not something that's easy to spot for yourself and we keep thinking we've fixed it.
Be interesting to see how I get on this weekend. I'm playing Thorpe Wood (as recommended by GB72 'Best Municipal in the Country') it's around 7,000 yd so I'll need my driver working! I'll let you know.
