New Clubs

I wish I had got the 4 iron with the set of Mizuno MX300's I got earlier this year.

my thinking was that I should have got the 4 iron in the set for some tee shots.

Have you tried the MP fli-hi? they come in 2,3, & 4 iron options and are pretty easy to hit and they go a long way.
I have a 3 & 4 in R300 shafts.

Extremely happy with my bag at the moment so no plans to change anything.
Only club I'm missing is a decent 3 wood. I'm using my old Steelhead+ at the moment, and will get around to getting something. But with winter around the corner, and my golf likely to be going on the back burner for a few months, I'm in no hurry.
Come the Spring I may start looking in earnest.
Unless a really cheap i15 comes up on ebay in the meantime.
;)

I was tinkering with the idea of those, but I find my 5 very easy to hit, so why risk a change in formula. If I ended up going any lower, then I'll take a peek.

As a result of all this I've just had the wife bagged, oops, freudian slip! I've just had the wife bag a four iron off fleabay for £30, brand new, and looks kosha, with the right shaft 'an all.

Problem is, she say's I'm not getting it until Christmas. My reply?
"Fine. As long as I get to use my new four iron out on the golf course, I won't mind" :o :D

After hitting some of the clubs at the Belfry yesterday it could be an expensive winter :(

Not sure what I'd get though .

Maybe some wedges, think my vokeys have lost their bite.
Not much time left to get 'illegal' wedges is there? ;)

Hybrid will be next investment for me (taking me up to eleven clubs !)
Don't feel any rush to get a driver, but would like something that gives me a bit more confidence for the fairway shots for distance rather than my 4 iron which can go absolutely anywhere.

Played my first few holes with my new S56's yesterday.

Lovely clubs, and bizzarely struggled more with the shorter irons than the longer ones. Might take quite a while, if ever, that I can fully do them justice!!! :)

Sabertooth great within ten feet, rubbish outside that and vice versa with my callie. Thinking of getting a scotty studio select 2.6 to cover the life ground.
