New clubs - itching to get out on a course

Well I'm still waiting to get my FROG out of the way. Had a good driving range session with a friend the other week and tried out his clubs. Cavity backs, just right for beginners like me. I couldn't believe how much easier it was to hit them than it was the hand-me-down decades old blades I brought along.

Lucky for me someone at work was selling their Yonex VM1 irons (£70 for 4-SW, bargain), so I now have a nice set of clubs to go hack around with. Can't wait for the weather to get out of the way so I can go tear up the local muni now.
