Hi All
12 handicap player here been using Ping i5s for years but decided to change as there looking very worn out weights missing / rust etc etc so bought same spec Ping iblades and its gone all wrong
Ping iblade:-
Round 1 ripped card up after 10 holes and walked off
Round 2 - 96
Round 3 - 105
Im stood over the ball not knowing if im holding a golf club or a baseball bat

SO

Went out yesterday with my old Ping i5s and shot 84 loved every minute of it

Feel free to chuck a comment in LOL

Cheers

I am off 6 and could not hit the iblades properly .
But I found them 10 yds shorter And very high.
Went to ping for a fitting and i210 were the nicest clubs I have ever tried.
Had them six months now and they are a fantastic club.
We’re your shafts the same?
You say same spec but shafts have changed a lot since i5.

Putter great lol
Its when you walk in the house after a round and the Wife asks " Hows your new Clubs" to my reply of " Brilliant really like them " after spending £500 on irons and driver which she went nuts about as i havent finished renovating the house yet lol

Ah OK, in that case my suggestion of contacting Ping isn't valid.
Ebay or maybe the retailer will swap/trade them for another set.
Ebay the M1.

Glad you love the putter ?
I think that ping are pretty good at retro fitting their irons, so if you go through a ping pro/fitter you might get some joy.
Alternatively, cut your losses. You could probably recoup a decent chunk and use that to buy the cleanest set of i5s on eBay. Job's a good'un.
Also, I'm an 11 hcap and have shot 80 and 92 in the last week with exactly the same clubs. Sometimes we just fall off a cliff, especially if we have something in our heads.

Regarding the driver, prices are quite high on eBay at the minute, I’m selling my m2 on there, already nearly at what I paid for it last year and has another day to run. Unless you paid over the odds you should be able to recoup the outlay.
